When oxygen hits the iron residue left on a surface, it turns the reddish brown color we call rust. A Jetstream installed Rust Prevention System will prevent the iron from oxidizing – or in other words no rusty fences, planters, sidewalks and siding! Existing rust? A solution exists you can use to safely remove the discoloration. Afterwards, the installed Rust Prevention System will prevent the rust from reoccurring. And what’s more, most sprinkler timers (for instance, the Hunter Hydrawise Proc HC) can be programmed to turn on the Rust Prevention system only for those zones where rust is unwanted.
